Fuchs is the largest spice manufacturer in Germany with over 10,000 products. They needed to streamline business operations and integrate with SAP and other systems. They embarked on a process automation project to standardize business processes and enable visibility across the organization and their vast portfolio of products.
Fuchs used Bizagi to document and automate a wide range of processes. They are running four process applications integrated with SAP, including a process to govern the use of alternative materials and confirming or extending a best-before date for ingredients, such as tons of peppers in the field. Stocks of individual ingredient batches are no longer selected manually but retrieved from SAP in a single click and displayed in the Bizagi portal. Fuchs has instilled a culture of change management to encourage the use of Bizagi across the organization, including training over 60 employees as part of a citizen developer program. The low-code platform has improved process quality, compliance and visibility across the organization by eliminating the use of paper forms and emails and instead carrying out traceable actions through digital applications. There are plans to create over 20 apps overacross product, IT and HR operations.
It was important to choose the right software for Fuchs. And for us, the Bizagi platform was the top one…. It performs well when it comes to process documentation. "
